The whole Boehner thing serves us a reminder. You see, in the past week, I've seen a bunch of people post about voting out Boehner - which is all fine and dandy but can't happen until someone actually steps up to replace him.

You can't throw the bums out until you've got better people to replace the bums.

Louie Gohmert has stepped into the race, which is great because Gohmert would certainly do a much better job at steering the House than Boehner... no question about that. But if Gohmert hadn't stepped up, it would all be moot.

Is your representative a bum? If so, you'd best get busy finding and funding that replacement, otherwise any energy you spend complaining about what a bum your rep is, well, that's just wasted energy.
